A quick doctor’s visit later and I was officially diagnosed with anxiety and insomnia. I was prescribed 2 medications to “help” with the problems. I’ve struggled with stomach issues my entire life but during this time, the issues became worse. I wasn’t sleeping, I started gaining weight despite my rigorous fitness routine & obsession with “healthy” food, and I had no coping mechanisms or strategies for handling the daily anxiety that continued to consume my life. For a long time I thought “I guess this is just how it will always be.”

I started my first year as a teacher in 1st grade in 2014. While I absolutely loved my students, that first year was an eye-opener. Not long into my teaching career I began to constantly feel defeated, exhausted, emotionally & mentally drained, and financially restricted. These emotions translated into physical sickness; I was constantly battling IBS, anxiety, and caught every bug or virus that entered my classroom. One day during my second year teaching, I experienced my first panic attack.

I realized very quickly the impact that striving for perfection can have on our physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Through exercise, nutrition, and creating habits that serve me, I’ve been able to take back my health. It is my mission and purpose to share what I’ve learned by giving other women the tools they need to take back control of their health, too.

I believe that God has given each of us a purpose on this Earth. We cannot fulfill that purpose unless we are taking care of our bodies. Transformation isn’t easy; it IS worth it and YOU are worth it. It’s time to live braver than you have before… step out in faith and TAKE BACK your health.

Remember, we will be on this journey together & I’ve got you girl.

Jessica P gruber

My name is Jessica Gruber. From the time I was a little girl, I’ve always known that one of my gifts has been to teach, help, and love others. For a long time I thought that I would only ever use these gifts as a classroom teacher. After 6 years in the classroom, I realized God was calling me to take a leap of faith and trust Him by leaving the classroom and fully investing my time and energy into my, at the time, part-time virtual health & fitness business in the summer of 2020. After lots of prayer, I took the leap & here I am!
